Other products and services include DNA/RNA syntheses activator chemicals, laboratory syntheses, and other cGMP custom manufacturing services.Copperhead's manufacturing facility is located in Tamaqua, PA, approximately 100 miles northwest of Philadelphia, close to Interstate Highways 78, 80, and 81. The site consists of 875 acres in the scenic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The facility opened in the early 1900's when Pott's Powder Company began manufacturing dynamite. Since then, the facility has been owned and operated by Atlas Powder, ICI Explosives, and, since 1997, Copperhead.
